Students of Dr. Dasarathan International School explored 3D design and mechanical concepts by creating a gear system using Tinkercad, a popular digital design and modeling platform. The activity introduced students to the fundamentals of engineering design and digital prototyping.

Through this exercise, students learned about design thinking, a creative approach that encourages learners to analyze problems, visualize solutions, and build functional designs. By modeling a gear system, students were able to understand how mechanical components interact and how digital tools can be used to simulate engineering concepts.

Learning 3D design platforms like Tinkercad helps students develop spatial reasoning, creativity, engineering awareness, and problem-solving skills, which are essential for future careers in technology, robotics, engineering, and product design.
